Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Chef to lead and manage the entire kitchen operations at Hotel EllBee Mussoorie Hills, Mussoorie. The candidate should be an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in multi-cuisine operations, menu development, and kitchen team supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all kitchen operations, staff scheduling, and workflow.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation across all menus.
- Plan daily menus, buffets, and special event menus.
- Control food costs, portioning, and inventory management.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure performance and discipline.
- Coordinate closely with F&B Service, Purchase, and Management teams.
- Introduce new dishes, improve kitchen efficiency, and ensure timely service.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in hotel or resort kitchens.Proven ability to lead a team and handle full-scale kitchen operations.Strong command over Indian cuisine; exposure to Continental preferred.Excellent planning, supervision, and cost-control skills.Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.Must be able to manage both a-la-carte and buffet operations independently.Flexible to work in shifts and during high-demand seasons.Benefits
