Dual Trade - Electrician / Communications Technician

As our continued growth opens up new possibilities our client responsible for telecommunications and electrical fit outs and network rebuilds are currently seeking Electricians and Communication Technicians to join their growing operation in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of work involving commercial electrical installations, maintenance, whilst the servicing remote clients from time to time as required.

Troubleshooting and experience with fibre optic and copper structured cabling systems including POE devices and WAP is highly advantageous.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

• Install complete electrical systems to new construction building sites and structures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for repair to ensure compliance to relevant standards.
• Test electrical systems and installations as per AS3000.
• Install conduit in designated partitions, walls and other concealed areas, fasten electrical switches and outlets to walls with housing, and pull insulated wires or cables through conduit to complete circuits.
• Complete Certificates of Compliance for all tasks undertaken
