About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Scientific Manager, Clinical to act as a Technical Owner for clinical data programs at Elucidata. You will lead a small team, set the technical direction, and be accountable for delivery quality and timelines. You will partner with product, engineering, data curation, delivery, and customer teams to design standards based clinical data solutions and ensure smooth execution.
What You’ll Own
- Design and implement scalable clinical and real-world data solutions across EHR, claims, registries, and trial datasets.
- Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Standardize and integrate clinical data by leading terminology mapping (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10) and ensuring interoperability across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and curation teams on data mapping, ingestion, and exchange workflows to make clinical data AI-ready.
- Define quality frameworks and validation checks to maintain compliance with HIPAA / HITECH and data governance standards.
- Create documentation and training materials to drive adoption of standardized templates and best practices.
- Stay current with evolving standards in EHR documentation, OMOP, and FHIR, and apply them to continuously improve data standardization processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
7–10 years of experience, including 5+ years with clinical / EHR or healthcare datasets.Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, or Computer Science.Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS / GCP / Snowflake ecosystems.Strong knowledge of health data standards (FHIR, OMOP, HL7, CDISC, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC).Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and manage client engagements.Familiarity with AI / ML workflows, NLP for clinical notes, or RWD analytics is a plus.Why Join Elucidata?
