Job Description :

Provide post deployment configuration assistance for Akamai products including :
Delivery : Ion CDA WebSocket EdgeWorkers DataStream Cloudlets Image & Video Manager NetStorage mPulse Lite
DNS Security : Edge DNS
Observability : TrafficPeak
Support fine-tuning optimization and configuration reviews on Akamai UI in alignment with recommended practices and customer requirements.
Track and maintain logs of configuration assistance hours and report regularly to the project management representative.
Analyze Akamai Traffic Peak data to identify performance trends bottlenecks and provide actionable traffic optimization recommendations in standard reporting formats at required frequencies to improve application performance
Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and maximize the value of Akamai services.
Share knowledge create documentation and support customer teams in ongoing management of Akamai delivery configurations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for a skilled Akamai Delivery Product Professional Services / Configuration Assistance / Implementations

Expert to provide hands-on configuration optimization and consultation on Akamai s Delivery DNS Security and Observability product suites.

The role involves working closely with customers to ensure efficient deployments performance optimization and adherence to Akamai best practices while maintaining clear reporting and collaboration with project management.

Qualification & Certification :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; Akamai certifications are a strong plus.

7 years in post implementations configuration engineer role / professional services with 2 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience in the relevant Akamai Delivery DNSSec & Observability solutions (Ion CDA Web socket Edge workers Data stream Cloudlet Image & Video manager Netstorage mPulseLite Edge DNS DNSSec & Traffic peak observability solution).

Akamai Edge Delivery Technical Mastery on Ion Akamai university product trainings that covers configuration and best practices for Delivery (Ion Edge Workers Cloudlets etc.) DNS Security (Edge DNS) and Observability (Traffic Peak) inclusive of any Akamai Technical Academy Certificates (Network Engineering / Customer Consulting & Support) provide foundations in networking DNS troubleshooting and client engagement is a plus.

Complementary industry certs like CCNA / CCNP AWS / Azure / GCP Cloud Certs that can help strengthen overall infrastructure and integration expertise is an added value(optional but preferred).

Required Skills

Strong communication presentation and collaboration skills.

Direct Customer handling experience

Strong expertise in Akamai Delivery products with practical experience in Ion CDA WebSocket EdgeWorkers DataStream Cloudlets Image & Video Manager NetStorage and mPulse Lite.

Working knowledge of DNS Security (Edge DNS) and Observability tools (TrafficPeak).

Hands-on experience in configuration optimization and troubleshooting within the Akamai Control Center (UI).

Solid understanding of CDN technologies web performance optimization and internet protocols (HTTP / HTTPS DNS TCP / IP).

Proficiency in log analysis and performance monitoring to drive actionable insights.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical data into customer-friendly recommendations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with customers and cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage time effectively maintain accurate reporting and support project management workflows.
