Work Mode : Hybrid – 2 days at the resort property and remaining days at the corporate office.
Role Overview
Whispering Woods Resort is seeking an ambitious and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead revenue generation, partnerships, and overall business growth. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of sales, revenue management, and brand positioning , making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.
The BDM will not only be responsible for expanding revenue streams and strengthening corporate relationships, but also for ensuring market competitiveness, operational profitability, and long-term brand visibility . We are looking for a proactive, innovative, and strategic leader with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive revenue across multiple channels : direct bookings, corporate sales, OTAs, travel agents, and institutional partnerships.
- Build and nurture long-term client and partner relationships , maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Actively engage in sales pitches, negotiations, and high-value client acquisition .
- Identify new business avenues, collaborations, and revenue streams to expand market share.
Revenue Management
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance.Identify leakages and inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.Prepare and manage forecasts, budgets, and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and profitability.Maintain a strong balance between cost efficiency and revenue growth .Brand & Market Growth
Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize and execute campaigns, promotions, and growth initiatives.Conduct market research to track competitor strategies, industry trends, and emerging business opportunities.Propose and implement innovative strategies for brand positioning, digital presence, and long-term growth.Ensure consistent brand representation across digital platforms, OTAs, and corporate channels.Strategic Planning & Research
Conduct market segmentation and analysis to identify untapped opportunities.Provide insights into customer behavior, competitor benchmarks, and pricing dynamics .Develop and execute business expansion strategies aligned with organizational goals.Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Management (hospitality, travel, or service industry strongly preferred).Strong knowledge of OTA platforms, corporate sales, and revenue optimization tools .Exceptional negotiation, client management, and strategic planning skills.Demonstrated ability to spot and plug revenue leakages while maximizing profitability.Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability .Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills .Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and management).Self-motivated, innovative, and target-driven professional.What We Offer
