About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with strong expertise in database testing, SQL, and data validation across large-scale data warehousing environments. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently on test design, execution, and defect management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes and data warehouse validation.
• Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data validation.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping validation by working closely with Business Analysts and developers.
• Conduct data migration testing, validating accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated records.
• Perform functional testing of data through portal / front-end applications where applicable.
• Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Document and track defects using tools like Jira, Quality Center, or similar bug tracking systems.
• Work within Agile / Scrum methodology, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvements by implementing test automation frameworks and scripts where applicable.
