About the Role :

The Fixed Assets Accountant is a key member of the Global Accounting and Integrity Team (GAIT) within Group Financial Control. This role ensures the financial integrity and compliance of the organisation by performing the end-to-end fixed asset accounting process.

The Global Accounting and Integrity Team are responsible for financial systems, global accounting and corporate processes.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Manage the Group’s fixed asset accounting process in accordance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain the SAP Fixed Assets module, including fixed assets capitalisation, depreciation, transfers and disposals.
  • Administer SAP master data and system changes related to fixed assets.
  • Deliver internal and external reporting requirements, including half-year and year-end submissions
  • Provide process guidance and training to stakeholders.
  • Respond to business queries, support internal & external audit requests and assist with tax-related requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with fixed asset SOX controls.
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations for fixed assets balances.

Skills & Experience :

  • Professional qualification (CA / CPA) or equivalent
  • 6+ years experience in fixed assets accounting in large organisations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with financial and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement across functions and jurisdictions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
