We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Network Security Engineer with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in managing large and complex networks on a PAN-India basis.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure while ensuring robust security and compliance.

This role requires a technically adept leader who can manage a wide range of network devices, oversee all operational aspects, and drive strategic initiatives to support business growth and Responsibilities Network Design & Architecture : Oversee the end-to-end design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS, firewalls, routers, and switches. Ensure the network architecture aligns with business needs and industry best practices. You will evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance network capabilities.

• Network Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce strict network security protocols to protect the company's data and assets. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. You will conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain a secure environment.
• Operational Management : Monitor network performance and reliability to ensure maximum uptime. You will oversee all network troubleshooting and issue resolution, perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues, and implement preventive measures. You will also manage network capacity planning and upgrades to support business growth.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management : Work closely with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality network services. You will act as a key liaison, collaborating with other departments to understand their network needs and provide expert technical guidance.
• Budget & Resource Management : Develop and manage the network administration budget. You will oversee the procurement of network equipment and services, ensuring all acquisitions are cost-effective and aligned with strategic goals.
• Daily Operations & Maintenance : Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing routine maintenance tasks such as backups, patch management, and system updates. You will ensure all network equipment is up-to-date with the latest patches and that all pending tickets are resolved within agreed-upon Skills & Qualifications :
• Experience : 10+ years of hands-on experience in managing large and complex networks on a PAN-India basis.
• Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience to configure Routers, Firewalls, Switches, SD-WAN devices, and other network technologies.
• Security Knowledge : Strong knowledge of advanced security technologies (Firewalls, IPS / IDS, VPN, etc.) and best practices. Exposure to compliance standards like ISO 27001 and PCI DSS is a significant advantage.
• SD-WAN : Proven experience in managing or deploying SD-WAN solutions in large enterprise networks.
• Tools : Experience with network automation tools, scripting, and network monitoring solutions.
• Soft Skills : Very strong customer service, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Certifications : A Diploma or Degree in a relevant field. IT certifications (CCNA, CCIE, etc.) are preferred but not mandatory.
