Key Responsibilities :
- Perform advanced Azure administration and troubleshooting tasks at the L3 support level.
- Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including session hosts, host pools, and user profiles.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex networking and security issues within Azure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Azure CLI to streamline cloud operations.
- Handle incident management, including escalations and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with L1 / L2 support teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Participate in capacity planning, patch management, and security compliance activities.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud administration, specifically at an L3 support level.Deep knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.Expertise in Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute) and security configurations.Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and / or Azure CLI for automation and operational tasks.Strong experience in incident and escalation management with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work on-site in Pune or Mumbai.Preferred Qualifications :
Microsoft certifications like AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-140 (Azure Virtual Desktop), or equivalent.Experience with CI / CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or Terraform.Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks in cloud environments(ref : hirist.tech)
