We are seeking a visionary and hands-on UI / UX Lead / Manager to drive the design and user experience strategy for our Drone Ground Control Station (GCS) and Fleet Management Platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape intuitive, safety-critical interfaces that power next-generation drone operations. The role blends product thinking, human-centered design, and system-level UX to deliver software that is functional, reliable, and delightful to use.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle across web, desktop, and tablet-based GCS and fleet software.
• Design operator dashboards, mission planning workflows, telemetry views, and map interfaces.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Collaborate with product managers, drone pilots, and developers to define intuitive interactions.
• Conduct user research and field studies with drone operators, mission planners, and technicians.
• Optimize information hierarchy for real-time monitoring, alerts, mission logs, and fleet health.
• Establish a cohesive design system across modules (video feed, map overlays, telemetry, mission planner, battery management, etc.).
• Mentor and lead a small team of 23 designers while also contributing as an individual contributor.
• Partner with frontend teams to ensure accurate design implementation and QA of UI components.
• Champion usability, accessibility, and safety-critical UX patterns relevant to autonomous systems.
