Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Plan, design, and implement academic programs, course structures, and syllabi in line with university and accreditation requirements (AICTE / UGC / NAAC, etc.).
- Ensure the quality delivery of the MBA curriculum through effective pedagogy and continuous improvement.
- Promote innovative teaching methods, case studies, simulations, and experiential learning.
- Oversee examination, assessment, and evaluation processes to maintain academic integrity and fairness.
Research Development
Encourage faculty and student research, publications, and participation in conferences.Foster industry-oriented research and consultancy projects.Facilitate collaborations with universities, think tanks, and corporate bodies for joint research initiatives.Administration Coordination
Supervise faculty recruitment, performance appraisal, and development.Prepare departmental budgets, manage resources, and ensure effective utilization.Schedule faculty workloads, course allocations, and academic timetables.Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory guidelines.Student Industry Engagement
Strengthen industryacademia linkages for internships, placements, and live projects.Organize seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and management development programs (MDPs).Mentor students and promote entrepreneurship, leadership, and soft-skill development.Quality Assurance Accreditation
Lead accreditation and ranking activities (NBA, NAAC, NIRF, etc.) for the department.Maintain academic documentation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications Experience
Educational Qualification : Ph.D. in Management or allied discipline from a recognized university.Experience : Minimum 1015 years of teaching and research experience in management education, with at least 5 years in an administrative or leadership role (such as HOD, Program Chair, or Dean).Desirable : Industry experience, research publications in reputed journals, and experience with academic accreditations.This job is provided by Shine.com
