The Financial Analyst position is part of the reporting and analysis team within the Distributor Finance department in Global Business Services. The Analyst supports month-end closes processes for our division partners and manages the calculation, payment and accounting for various distributor incentives. This position also provides reporting on department performance and executes monthly processing controls to ensure accuracy. This position involves regular interaction with distributors, division finance and Ecolab sales management teams.

What You Will Do :
Provide month end reporting to multiple divisions summarizing Distributor Finance activity for processed resales, refunds, and handling feesProvide progress reporting throughout the month, identify significant variances to forecast or historical trends and identify driversManage distributor incentive programs including tracking new and expired incentives, managing rebate accruals, and administering timely processing of rebate paymentsAdminister key monthly controls including inventory trending analysis to validate accuracy of processing and quickly identify and resolve issuesKPI reporting to ensure complete and accurate resale processing in SAPEvaluate potential improvements and scope expansion based on changing business needsProvide support, ad hoc reporting, and analysis to internal and external customersEnsure that all reporting processes and systems are documentedSupport various ad-hoc requests from Divisional partnersMonthly / Quarterly risk reviews with Divisional partnersMiscellaneous project supportBasic Qualifications :
Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics2-3 years of professional experienceProven analytical and decision-making skillsAbility to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsEffective oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritizeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook), workflow software, and ad hoc reporting tools and databasesDemonstrated project management and leadership skillsMust be self-motivated, and both detail and process orientedFluent English in speaking and writingAbility to utilize problem resolution skills in a fast paced and sensitive areaAbility to work as a member of a teamAbility to analyze and summarize data and draw meaningful conclusionsAbility to work independently and balance prioritiesStrong attention to detailAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to deal with ambiguity / subjectivitySkills Required
