Job Description
- Supervise and lead grouting teams in marine and offshore environments.
- Review and interpret grouting method statements, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure proper preparation and setup of grouting equipment (mixers, pumps, agitators, hoses, etc.).
- Monitor grouting operations for flow rate, pressure, and volume as per the approved procedure.
- Conduct inspection and testing of grout materials (flow-ability, density, bleed, setting time, etc.).
- Coordinate with engineers, divers, and other site supervisors for sequence and access.
- Maintain detailed records of grouting operations including pressure logs, material usage, and daily reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, especially for marine works.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues related to equipment, material consistency, or injection performance.
- Train and guide crew members on safe and effective grouting practices.
Requirements
Diploma or ITI in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).Minimum 5–10 years of experience in grouting work, with at least 3 years in marine or offshore projects.Proven experience with cementitious, epoxy, or chemical grouting systems in submerged or tidal environments.Proficiency in operating grouting pumps, mixers, and related marine equipment.Knowledge of marine construction materials and procedures (anchors, pile sleeves, void filling, etc.).Understanding of grout mix design, testing procedures, and quality control parameters.Ability to read technical drawings and follow method statements.Requirements
