Purpose of the Role

As part of the finance team at Planify Capital, the intern will support financial planning & analysis (FP&A), investment monitoring, reporting, and strategic decision-making. Given the requirement of CFA Level III clearance, we expect a high calibre candidate who can contribute meaningfully from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management.
• Build, update and maintain financial models (e.g., forecasting, budgeting, valuations) to support business units and investment decisions.
• Analyse business performance : variance analysis (actual vs budget / forecast), identify drivers, prepare commentary and actionable insights.
• Support investment / portfolio monitoring : evaluate key metrics, track performance, prepare investment memos / scorecards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, risk, HR) to gather inputs and align on financial planning.
• Help with implementation and enhancement of reporting tools and processes—process improvements, automation in Excel / BI tools.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial and market research (industry trends, competitor benchmarking, regulatory changes) and present findings.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation of assumptions and model logic, support audit / tracking activities.
• Assist with employer-branding and internal communications by preparing finance-related content for stakeholder updates.
