Roles and Responsibilities :

• AIT Engineer is responsible for taking the airframes to a production configuration by integrating and configuring the flight controller and other associated electronics.
• Candidates should be able to route the wirings and integrate different payloads to the UAV as per mission requirements.
• Candidates should have sound knowledge of engineering of UAVs (FW / VTOL etc.) of various classes and configurations.
• They should have demonstrable working knowledge of aircraft building, integration and testing for professional applications.
• Building UAVs from the designs given by the Design and Analysis teams.
• Integrating the flight controller with other onboard avionics and configuring autopilots.
• Integrating the OBC (NVIDIA Boards, Raspberry pi etc.) with PixHawk and peripheral programming to mission requirements.
• Configuring, integrating and testing on-board avionics like GPS, EO / IR cameras, airspeed sensors, optical flow sensors etc.
• Tweaking parameters, both on the flight controller and ground control software to achieve optimum aircraft performance and glitch-free operation.
• Knowledge and debugging experience of propulsion system (IC & Jet Engine) and on-board instruments.
• Extensive pre-flight testing experience of all on-board instrumentation to find and eliminate performance issues.
• Identifying the critical components and co-ordinating with the procurement team to ensure adequate availability of the components.
