About the role

CrewSELECT is seeking qualified Electrical Switchboard Testers for busy switchboard manufacturing workshops in Wakerley and Hemmant .

You’ll be testing, inspecting, and verifying low-voltage switchboards before dispatch, ensuring all electrical, control, and protection systems meet Australian standards.

Wakerley : Permanent opportunity
Hemmant : Temp-to-perm position

Both sites are hiring immediately .

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional and insulation testing on switchboards

Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults

Verify compliance with wiring diagrams and schematics

Complete detailed test records and documentation

Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure build quality

Qualifications / Experience required

Current Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence (QLD)

Previous experience testing LV switchboards essential

Confident in control wiring, protection circuits & PLC interfaces

Able to interpret complex electrical drawings

Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and workmanship
