Overview :

The MEP Design Manager plays a critical role in the successful execution of luxurious residential projects by leading the design and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, design leadership, and effective communication to ensure all systems are compliant with regulations while enhancing the overall architectural vision.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design Leadership :

Direct the development and design of MEP systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and adherences to industry standards.

2. Coordination :

Facilitate seamless collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve a cohesive building design that harmonizes aesthetics with functional MEP systems.

3. Technical Expertise :

Offer specialized knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to guide the project team and inform design decisions.

4. Plan Review :

Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of MEP drawings and specifications, ensuring all documentation is both accurate and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.

5. Cost and Schedule Management :

Oversee project budgets and schedules related to MEP design and implementation, monitoring financial performance while delivering on time.

6. Problem Solving :

Proactively identify potential design conflicts and compliance risks, resolving issues expeditiously to maintain project timelines and integrity.

7. Team Leadership :

Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, fostering an environment of growth through technical guidance and effective delegation of tasks.
