SCCM Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and optimize the Tanium platform across a large enterprise environment. The role involves administering various Tanium modules (e.g., Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Comply, Connect, Discover), supporting endpoint management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer and configure Tanium modules for patching, software deployment, compliance, and threat detection.

Monitor system health, performance, and compliance metrics via the Tanium console.

Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and client health issues.

Develop and maintain custom sensors, packages, dashboards, and reports.

Automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Integrate Tanium with SIEM, ITSM, and other enterprise tools.

Support onboarding of new endpoints and maintain infrastructure documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards (CIS, NIST).

Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

7 – 10 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint or security management.

Knowledge of Windows / Linux system administration.

Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash).

Understanding of endpoint protection, patching, and software deployment tools.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Hands-on experience with Tanium production environments.

Exposure to SCCM, RHEL Satellite or similar endpoint management tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (CIS, NIST).

Tanium Fundamentals or Certified Operator certification.
