This is NOT an entry level role. The role requires minimum of 2 years of experience.
Kara Medical Foundation is looking for the right candidate to join our small, mission-driven team in Delhi NCR.
The role will initially focus on a project for visually impaired students, aimed at building digital literacy through smartphones and accessible technology. This role is ideal for someone who is able to structure and coordinate in fast-moving, start-up style projects, is adept at setting up systems and processes in new initiatives, and is passionate about inclusion and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the programs.
- Support and conduct assistive technology training sessions .
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
- Liaise with universities, students, NGOs, and project partners.
- Assist with office administration and email management under the Trustee's guidance.
- Assist in project setup, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Adapt and problem-solve in a fast-moving, evolving project environment.
- Will need to provide flexible support to Kara's broader projects .
Requirements
Prior experience working with persons with disabilities (PwDs) good to haveStrong understanding of or hands-on experience with assistive technology and digital accessibility good to have.Experience in skills training, facilitation, or community programs.Highly organized, flexible, and able to work in a start-up style environment.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.Ability to work 9 am – 5 pm, 6 days a week, with flexibility for occasional extended hours.Willingness to work from office (South Delhi) with some scope for remote work.What We Offer
