The Opportunity
Experience : 6+ months of experience
Nature of Employment : Contractual
As a TV Shows & Entertainment Writer, you will be covering scripted content - streaming & otherwise, writing features and news pieces on them.
Key Responsibilities :
Write 4-5 articles a day.
Monitor day-to-day sport entertainment news and keep tabs on social media trends, become familiar with Google Trends.
Pitch interesting story ideas.
Open to feedback from the editorial team.
Review movies / TV shows (thorough research skills mandatory).
Able to meet deadlines, available for real-time coverage of award shows & similar live events.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English / Journalism / Mass communication is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting preferred.
Understands industry terms and has previous success in breaking entertainment reporting.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
Willing to work in the night shift (7PM to 3AM IST) & weekends.
