Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and maintain EMC storage systems including but not limited to VMAX, Unity, VNX, XtremIO, PowerMax , and Isilon / PowerScale .
- Configure and manage SAN / NAS environments , storage provisioning , zoning , and LUN masking using EMC Unisphere, Navisphere , or CLI .
- Monitor storage performance, health, and capacity using tools like EMC ViPR SRM , EMC Secure Remote Services (ESRS) , and Dell EMC SupportAssist .
- Perform storage upgrades , firmware updates, and patching with minimal business disruption.
- Implement and maintain data replication and backup solutions , such as EMC RecoverPoint , Data Domain , Avamar , or Networker .
- Support disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing for storage solutions.
- Collaborate with VMware, network, and database administrators to ensure seamless storage integration.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot storage-related issues, and provide on-call support as needed.
- Document storage architecture, procedures, configurations, and incident resolutions.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of hands-on experience as a Storage Administrator with a focus on Dell EMC solutions .Proficiency in managing enterprise SAN / NAS systems and working with Brocade or Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches .Strong understanding of RAID levels , thin provisioning , deduplication , and snapshot technologies .Working knowledge of backup and recovery strategies , data migration , and storage tiering .Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell , Shell ) for automation is a plus.Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.Skills Required
