Project Lead - Government IT Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead with a strong background in IT consulting, project / program management, and public health software applications for Government of India (GoI) or State / UT Government projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of consulting experience in managing IT projects, preferably in the public health domain, and will be responsible for leading teams, ensuring project delivery, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT-related projects / programs for government clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of public health software applications in collaboration with GoI / State / UT Government bodies.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with client requirements.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, government stakeholders) to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide strategic consulting expertise to clients, offering solutions to improve IT systems and public health programs.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and key metrics to senior leadership and government stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with government policies, security standards, and best practices in IT project management.
