Description
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver fully working xCaas instances, integrated into Avaya IT day 2 operational processes, to ReadyNow Service Customers in as little time as possible.
- Consume the automation tools / toolchain to deliver working instances to end customers.
- Bridge the gaps between the different automation tools, capable of resolving some of Automation gaps leveraging Avaya Maestro expert user mode (Mscripts) and capable of converting / merging existing Ansible scripts with Orchestration suite.
- When Automation is not available, responsible for manually delivering that part of the overall solution (Application, IT elements or other surrounds (SAL-RMM-UM-Portal).
- Work with Maestro / Automation team / provide weekly feedback to ensure these steps are reduced as much / fast as possible.
- Keep a preset and ready to go inventory of standard xCaas instances in Avaya One Cloud (Avaya IT DC).
- Provide architectural improvements feedbacks to reduce cost of operation.
- Responsible for keeping the running instances up to date from security and functionalities point of view -work with and leverage Automation to define an automated lifecycle management process
- Perform Customer Data collection and migration from on-prem to standard xCaaS instance leveraging / enhancing Avaya Toolset. (Provision)
- Provide additional Personalization services such dial plan consolidation and other services
Required Skills :
Experience with Avaya UC / CC implementation and ITHands-on experience of Deployment and Troubleshooting majority of the following Avaya products Core UCaaS : Avaya Aura System Manager, Avaya Aura Session Manager, Avaya Aura Communication Manager, IX Messaging, Presence Service, Avaya Aura Media Server, Avaya Session Border Controller Enterprise (ASBCE), Avaya Aura Device Services (AADS 8.0) with utility services, Avaya Breeze (for PS), Sentry E911 Endpoints : Avaya IX Workplace Clients for Windows, IOS and Android, Avaya J Series SIP Endpoints, Vantage Series, Avaya 96x1 SIP Endpoints, WebRTC, Sentry Software clients Collaboration platform(s) : Spaces, IX Meetings, Avaya Web Gateway in conjunction with IX Meetings Trunking Avaya Zang CPaaS Operational elements : Usage Metering, Customer Portal, Windows Domain Controller, Https Server, Avaya Diagnostic Server including SAL GW, ADC Reverse Proxy, RMM agent, DESHands-on experience writing automation scripts in pythonRecent, demonstrated experience managing VMware environment VMware ESXi, vCenter, iSCSI, Disk usage analysis Networking and network usage analysis including VMware Networking, SDNSecondary Skills :
