About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our digital transformation team in the print media sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing legacy systems, automating editorial workflows, integrating content management platforms, and building scalable tools that bridge the gap between print and digital publishing. This is an exciting opportunity to help a traditional media organization innovate through technology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and build backend services and tools to support editorial, layout, and publishing workflows.
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications that handle content ingestion, formatting, and scheduling for both print and digital outputs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal systems such as CMS, DAM, and advertising platforms.
• Automate PDF generation, print layouts, pagination tools, and archive systems.
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability under daily publishing deadlines.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and product teams to ensure technology aligns with newsroom needs.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code quality and best practices across the team.
