Accounts Executive

to streamline our financial processes and support our growth journey.

Role Overview

The

Accounts Executive

will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws. The role also involves working closely with management to track expenses, manage vendor payments, and oversee inventory bundling for projects.

This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions in Tally / Zoho or other accounting software.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and reconciliation.

Track all cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

2. Inventory & Bundling Management

Oversee inventory bundling for campaign deliverables and promotional materials.

Ensure correct tracking of stock movements and maintain updated reports.

Coordinate with the operations team to align inventory levels with project requirements.

3. Vendor & Client Coordination

Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

Reconcile client payments with invoices issued.

Follow up with clients for pending dues in a professional manner.

4. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and tax filings.

Assist in filing returns in coordination with external consultants.

5. Reporting & Analysis

Provide weekly cash flow reports and financial health updates to management.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline expense management.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com preferred).

Additional certifications like CA Inter or equivalent will be a plus.

Experience :

2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a service-based or creative industry.

Prior experience handling inventory or project-based accounting is desirable.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for financial reporting.

Soft Skills :

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
