WordPress Developer (Backend)

About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend WordPress Developer with 34 years of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in PHP , MySQL , jQuery , and WordPress plugin / theme development , with a strong understanding of best practices in coding, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Build dynamic and interactive features using jQuery and AJAX .
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver visually appealing and functional websites.
• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and user experience.
• Manage and query WordPress databases using MySQL .
• Perform regular debugging, testing, and maintenance of WordPress sites.
• Implement website security, data protection, and backup protocols.
• Work with tools like Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to understand and fulfill requirements.
