Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications and services.
You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure high-performing, scalable, and secure applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement and configure modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or others as needed.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, or MID Servers.
- Customize UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, and ACLs.
- Create and manage Service Catalogs, Requests, Workflows, and SLAs.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain platform stability by applying patches and upgrades.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions, and development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
4-9 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development best practices.Experience in developing and configuring ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB).Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Performance Analytics is a plus.Strong understanding of Access Control Rules, data security, and platform architecture.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.Additional certifications (e.g , Certified Application Developer, ITSM Implementation Specialist) are a plus(ref : hirist.tech)
