Job descriptionManage and oversee tendering processes for railway infrastructure projects from concept to execution Possess knowledge of construction and execution practices specific to railway projects Plan and coordinate the phasing of work from preliminary design through to the construction stage Ensure that sustainability principles are integrated during the design phase and maintained throughout the project lifecycle Develop concept and outline design proposals that address client needs in maintenance, renewal, and enhancement of rail infrastructure Conduct structural inspections, assessments, and design for bridges and other railway structures Perform civil and structural analysis and calculations in accordance with engineering standards Liaise with clients to understand requirements and deliver optimal technical and commercial solutions Monitor project progress daily with regard to schedule, cost, and quality parameters Ensure project delivery is in line with contractual obligations and safety standards as per signed agreements and variation orders Incorporate client and railway department feedback, and implement corrections and design changes as necessary Provide leadership and guidance to the project development team and evaluate their performance Allocate and manage resources and time effectively in the project plan to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks
