Factory Manager

Job Summary : The Factory Manager will oversee the end-to-end production operations for interior design and modular furniture manufacturing. The role involves managing the factory team, ensuring timely project execution, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and coordinating with the design and site teams to deliver projects efficiently. Key Responsibilities : Oversee daily factory operations including production, material management, and dispatch. Plan and schedule production activities as per project timelines. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor inventory, ensure timely procurement of raw materials, and maintain stock levels. Supervise carpenters, painters, polishers, CNC / machine operators, and other factory staff. Ensure adherence to quality standards and design specifications in all furniture and interior components. Implement cost control and waste reduction measures. Maintain factory safety, housekeeping, and compliance with statutory requirements. Review production reports, identify delays or bottlenecks, and take corrective actions. Train and motivate factory staff to enhance productivity and skill levels. Required Skills : Bachelor’s / Diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Production, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in interior design production or modular furniture manufacturing. Strong knowledge of modular furniture systems, joinery, materials, and finishes. Experience in managing factory operations and workforce. Familiarity with machinery like panel saws, edge banding, CNC routers, etc. Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Excel and ERP software for production tracking.
