Job Title :

Senior Backend Developer – Java | AWS | API

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems using Java and AWS . The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of microservices architecture , API development , and cloud-native applications . Experience with Python or Node.js is a plus. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and AWS.
• Build and optimize microservices architectures ensuring scalability, resilience, and reliability.
• Implement secure and efficient integrations with third-party APIs and systems .
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Leverage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS ) for development and deployment.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices .
• Participate in sprint planning, CI / CD setup, and performance tuning initiatives.
• Document API interfaces, workflows, and architectural decisions for ongoing maintainability.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies to continuously enhance system capabilities.
• Optional : Contribute using Python or Node.js for specific service modules or automation.
