Job description

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Design and develop scalable microservices for a cloud-native SaaS platform
Build and maintain robust and secure RESTful APIs
Optimize services for performance, observability, and security in a multi-tenant architecture

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead architectural discussions and decisions

Conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior developers

Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features

DevOps & Best Practices

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and DevSecOps principles

Drive CI / CD pipeline improvements and containerization best practices

Maintain system reliability and performance through monitoring and optimization

Must-Have Skills

Node.js (ES6+), Express.js

Microservices, SaaS architecture

RESTful API design and security

Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS

SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Caching strategies, query optimization

Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP (S3, Pub / Sub, etc.)

CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Git

Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code practices, and system scalability

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the insurance or financial domain

Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

Experience implementing API Gateways and access control models (RBAC / ABAC)

Skills Required

Node.js, Express.Js, Saas, Kafka, Sql
