Reporting to the Head - Internal Audit the Deputy Head, Internal Audit & Compliance shall be responsible for leading financial monitoring and internal audits for Organization and its associate organizations, ensuring transparency, compliance, and effective fund utilization across Organization initiatives. S / he shall independently conduct financial reviews of supported projects, including field visits, and collaborate with external auditors for audit planning, execution, and closure. S / he shall support stakeholders with issue resolution, manage audit MIS, drive closure of audit observations, and contribute to policy formulation through interpretation of regulatory changes. 1) Active involvement in the Organization’s (Head Office and Associate Organizations) audits financial monitoring reviews conducted throughout the year. (2) Planning / sampling / attending kick-off meetings / review meetings and closure meetings conducted for finalization of internal audit reports along with the external audit firms. (4) Independently conducting Financial Review of Projects supported by Organization (Including visit to locations). 6) Rigorous follow up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras. 7) Maintaining real time updated MIS for open audit paras and sharing data with the stakeholders on a regular basis. (8) Interpretation of statutory / regulatory changes & assisting in defining policies to be implemented. (9) Preparing reports / presentations for Organization Management as required. (QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES : 1) Applicants must be qualified Chartered Accountants. Experience (1) Applicants must have a minimum of 15-20 years’ experience in Internal / Statutory Audit. (2) Applicants must have experience / knowledge of the social sector. 2) Thorough knowledge of statutory and internal audit. (7) Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively for audit requirements which may span up to 15 days a month COMPENSATION OFFERED : The compensation for the position is competitive and commensurate with experience and salary history.
