As the Financial Controller, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the integrity of our financial operations, leading a skilled finance team, and ensuring compliance with both local and global standards. You’ll partner with business leaders across functions, contribute to global financial reporting, and uphold our Winning Together values in everything you do.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the accounting department, including G / L, A / R, A / P, and Tax functions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting aligned with Group timelines.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate inventory accounting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and reconciliation accounts.
- Manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring compliance with audit standards and minimizing control weaknesses.
- Handle treasury functions : cash flow forecasting, currency hedging, forex revaluation, and reporting.
- Ensure tax compliance with local regulations (GST, TDS) and collaborate with legal / tax advisors as needed.
- Improve and enforce accounting processes and internal controls across the organization.
- Produce annual Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts.
- Oversee revenue recognition and inventory processes.
- Monitor receivables and proactively escalate overdue accounts.
- Support budget and forecast planning alongside the Commercial Finance Team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on system upgrades, finance projects, and continuous process improvements.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, setting clear expectations and fostering growth.
What You’ll Need
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldChartered Accountant (CA) and / or CPA qualification strongly preferredMinimum 18 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a senior financial leadership role.Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of Local GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Strong leadership and team development skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder managementProven ability to implement processes that drive efficiency and accuracyInternational exposure and experience working in a matrix organization is highly desirableStrong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable.
