Role Description
To analyse equity market trends and identify high-quality trading opportunities through technical chart analysis, price action insights, and market behaviour interpretation. The role involves generating intraday, short-term, and positional ideas in equity derivatives while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong risk-reward structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed technical analysis of individual stocks using chart patterns, candlestick structures, support–resistance mapping, and momentum indicators
- Generate actionable equity and derivative trading ideas with clear entry, stop-loss, and target parameters
- Track sector rotation, volume patterns, breakout / breakdown setups, and relative strength to filter high-probability stocks
- Provide daily and weekly equity research notes, market outlooks, and stock-specific strategy reports.
- Monitor market breadth, FII / DII flows, index positioning, and sentiment indicators to strengthen equity recommendations
- Analyse stocks across multiple timeframes to identify intraday, swing and positional opportunities
- Refine trading methodologies for improved precision
- Stay informed about global equity cues, macro developments, and their technical impact on domestic stocks
Qualifications
1-3 Years of Experience at a stock broking firm.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferredProficiency with charting platforms such as TradingView or similar toolsStrong Analytical Skills to evaluate trends, data, and market movementExcellent Communication skills to interact with clients and team membersExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsStrong communication skills for presenting equity views and trade strategiesAbility to multi-task in a constantly changing environmentDetail-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure
