Job Description :

The Component Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of electronic components used across our product lines. This includes technical data capture, component selection, lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IPC, ISO, and RoHS. The role involves evaluating component alternatives, mitigating counterfeit risks, maintaining component databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and procurement to secure reliable and cost-effective component sourcing. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in electronic component management, data analysis, and industry regulations, contributing to the company's goal of delivering reliable, compliant products.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

1.       Technical Data & Lifecycle Management

• Capture, update, and analyze electronic component data (part numbers, specs, supplier info).
• Manage component lifecycle, identify obsolescence, assure longevity and find suitable replacements.
• Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) regularly for compliance and suitability.
