ASSOCIATE ENGINEERING DIRECTOR

The Engineering R & D function at Medtronic Engineering & Innovation Centre at Hyderabad, India encompasses systems, software development and verification – testing activities during NPD and Sustaining phases of product development support / during turnkey NPD Projects for the OUs.

The role of Associate Engineering Director at MEIC will focus on Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health Operating Unit (NM-PH OU) Software R&D efforts at Hyderabad. NM-PH OU is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialization to pursue our vision and long-term business growth.

The NM OU R&D organization, for 50 years, has been the pioneer in Neuromodulation, delivering life-changing therapies to patients with movement disorders, and chronic pain. Their bold innovation has created ground-breaking advances in the treatment of the brain and chronic pain.

Pelvic Health (PH) therapies treat patients suffering from overactive bladder, non-obstructive urinary retention and fecal incontinence with our sacral neuromodulation (SNM) systems InterStim X™ and InterStim™ Micro; and our percutaneous tibial neuromodulation (PTNM) system NURO™.

• Software Engineering Management critical experience
• People Management critical experience
• Software development and comfortable with SW development practices and models
• Product development experience
• Strategic customer engagement experience
