🔍 Job Summary
As a U.S. Tax Associate, you will assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries while developing deep technical tax knowledge.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, and individual).
- Assist in tax planning and compliance projects.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulings.
- Support senior tax professionals in responding to tax notices and audits.
- Conduct tax research using tools such as RIA, CCH, or Bloomberg BNA.
- Maintain and update client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for tax-related matters.
- Ensure timely filing of all required tax documents and forms.
✅ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus).CPA or working toward CPA certification preferred.0–2 years of relevant tax or accounting experience (internships count).Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and reporting requirements.Proficiency in tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar).Excellent communication and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
