Job Description

Manager – PLM

Job Responsibilities

• To work on Summer and Winter schedules in coordination with Revenue and crew scheduling to achieve maximum utilization of fleet and also to work on NOTAMS in coordination with OCC and Revenue which involves either planning some cancellations and some delays to manage the present schedule due NOTAM in the best manner.
• Prepare daily Aircraft Routing and workload in coordination with Line Maintenance, Revenue and OCC for maximum utilization of Aircraft.
• To program in time all schedule / unscheduled Aircraft maintenance work so that maximum commercial utilization is achieved within the constraints of the approved maintenance schedule.
• To coordinate with OCC, MCC & LMD for Aircraft Swapping's to minimize delays and increase On Time Performance, and also in case of grounding of aircraft it is required to coordinate with
• Revenue and OCC to plan either Cancellations or delays to manage the operations with less no of aircraft.
• To make Rolling work status as per maintenance forecast which include all major work (Bore scope Inspections, A-checks, etc.) which requires specialized man power and equipment's
• To Monitor MEL status on daily basis and to coordinate with Procurement for timely availability of spares and revoking the MEL.
• To monitor TCI items, SB compliance, Rotable label booking and Work order closing in AMOS.
• Ensure adequate materials / tools and manpower for out stations and opening of new stations.
• To monitor Cabin up gradation program like Carpet etc. for maintaining high cleanliness standards in aircraft cabin.
• To coordinate with Line maintenance and Revenue for stretcher installation and de-installation whenever required.
• Stretcher planning in coordination with Line maintenance, Commercial and operations.
• Engine change planning of both IAE and Pratt in coordination with PPG and BMD.
