Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Production & Packaging Manager located in Mumbai. The Senior Production & Packaging Manager will oversee daily production and packaging operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards.

a) Work closely with Designers to evaluate concepts, material and overall scope and feasibility for production

b) Support Designers as and when needed to create Prototype of approved concepts

c)Vendor development and Management - Source vendors and 3rd Party factories to tie up for Manufacturing – drive discussions for assessment of fitment and feasibility for production partnership.

d) Cost Analyses and Optimisation - Secure quotations to analyse feasibility and assess scope for negotiations and cost reduction

e) Turnkey delivery - Set SOPs for entire Production Cycle and follow with team and respective stakeholders concept to final delivery of finished goods to Warehouse

f) Driving complete Quality Control SOPs to include various local and international testing certification and standards - ensure final production is compliant to that.

g) Ensure best in class and innovative packaging

Training and supporting development of any subordinates or associate employed or engaged by the company to support the consultant's roles and responsibilities

Qualifications

• Production management and workflow optimization skills
• Experience in packaging processes and inventory management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in production
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field
• Experience in the toy or consumer goods industry is a must
