As part of the responsibility, the AM- Underwriting Operations, is required to conceive, design, develop and roll out strategies that can result in the following outcomes :

Process Transformation in the Offshore Underwriting Operations

Daily Throughput Management

Staffing Optimization & Productivity Enhancement

Knowledge Transfer & Process Stabilization

Client Services & Engagement

About the Role

The role involves supporting the growth and efficiency of the DIS Underwriting Operations, with a focus on building a strong team of offshore underwriters.

Responsibilities

Support in screening, interviewing and hiring new underwriters

To provide effective strategies for building and growing the DIS Underwriting Operations. The goal is to build a strong team of 100 offshore underwriters.

Oversee progress of classroom and on job training.

Oversee Production ramp up to meet the required level.

Monitor quality level and give directions to progress on quality level.

Work with Presales manager to pitch for new business.

Provide the necessary day-to-day business report (MIS, Executive Summary Report, Business Insights)

Manage the SLA and delivery obligations made with the client.

Other activities that are mutually agreed over email or as an amendment to this agreement, as the project progresses.
