Key Responsibilities
Credit & Operational Excellence
- Manage and oversee the Gold Loan portfolio of the branch as the second-in-command to the Branch Head.
- Assist the Branch Head in core branch activities like loan disbursement, cash handling, vault operations, customer service, and compliance.
- Maintain key registers and prepare accurate daily reports for management visibility.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to promote gold loan products.Identify new customer prospects and effectively pitch gold loan offerings.Ensure timely interest collection from customers and proactively manage overdue cases.Maintain tight control over Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and support recovery efforts.Valuation and Compliance
Conduct accurate valuation and appraisal of pledged gold ornaments in adherence to company standards and audit norms.Perform purity checks using methods like acid / salt test, pointed scratch test, weight test, smell test, usability test, flexibility test, and sound test.Ensure safety and proper documentation of cash and gold assets; store in designated vaults securely.Skills Required
