PHP Developer - Laravel / CodeIgniter

In this role, you will own end-to-end product development cycles, from ideation and architecture to deployment and optimization.

Youll work closely with founders, product owners, and domain experts to deliver meaningful digital solutions that drive both social and business impact.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Implement MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter for clean architecture and maintainable codebases.
• Write clean, secure, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards (PSR, SOLID principles).
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and third-party integrations.
• Build efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Implement caching strategies and performance optimizations to improve response times and scalability.
• Work directly with founders, clients, and domain experts to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and feature planning sessions.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and reduce regressions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate deployment activities.
• Work with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) to manage code repositories.
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) processes.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain technical excellence.
• Continuously monitor and enhance application performance, security, and usability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in PHP frameworks, cloud platforms, and web development technologies.
• Propose and implement improvements in application design, architecture, and development workflows.
