Title : QA Engineer (Manual / Automation)

Location : Hybrid - onsite 3x per week in Gurgaon

Duration : 12 month contract with extensions - renews annually

Pay Rate : 14.7 LPA - 27.5 LPA depending on experience

Interview Process : 1-2 rounds

Must Haves :

• At least 5+ Years of Testing Experience in both Manual and Automation environments
• Experience with Functional, Regression, UAT, Exploratory, Negative, Database Validation
• Experience with the following tech stack : Big Query, SQL, Java and Selenium
• Experience writing test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin
• Experience implementing Quality Control and how to assess after implementation

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation testing to join a Financial client of ours in Gurgaon, 3x week onsite hybrid schedule. This role will be working on a new development project that will impact the entirety of the organization and working with many cross divisional teams. With this being a new project, there is currently no model for it and that will be part of this roles duties to align with the Manager and create that go forward plan. The end goal is to create a centralized repository for Risk Management in which data can be shared and utilized by teams across the organization. This is being built from scratch so there is not any documentation to go off of for this role and will require investigation and collaboration with Product Owners, Technical Project Managers / Agile Coaches and Developers. This resource will be responsible for starting in Manual testing (Functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, Database validation, etc) with a goal to create a fully fleshed out QA process, procedures, test approach driving and being able to define, introduce, enforce and own the QA process. Once the test Automation framework is established the engineer will be focusing on Selenium and Java based automation testing, writing acceptance criteria and holding dev teams to those standards and then working on database querying across multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery. Would be beneficial for this resource to understand CI / CD and pipeline deployments.
