We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, process control, and product testing, and will play a key role in improving product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. As a Quality Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and implement best practices in manufacturing and production processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure product and process compliance with company specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify product quality.
- Perform audits to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, GMP).
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas of inefficiency, defects, or deviations from quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Work with production teams to implement process enhancements, improve efficiency, and reduce waste or defects.
- Gather, analyze, and report quality data (e.g., defect rates, process performance, root cause analysis) to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Use statistical tools (e.g., SPC, Minitab, Pareto analysis) to track and monitor process performance and product quality.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and provide insights into quality performance and improvements.
- Assess and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards, and collaborate with them on quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure timely resolution of any quality issues with raw materials or components.
- Monitor supplier performance and work closely with the procurement team to ensure consistent product quality.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, working cross-functionally to identify the root cause and corrective actions.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality-related concerns and ensure that corrective actions are implemented to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all quality control activities are well documented, including inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including work instructions, test plans, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, CE marking) and stay up to date with industry standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to ensure quality is integrated into the design and manufacturing process from the beginning.
- Provide training to staff on quality control procedures, product specifications, and best practices to improve quality awareness across departments.
