Residential Design Architect

RECON is a well funded, IIT-IIM alumni led technology driven Knowledge Partner for plotted residential construction with an AUM exceeding 1,00,000 sqft.

We empower plot owners with industry-first techno-commercial analysis to select the right design and construction agency(s) by defogging expectations vs reality, remove pit-falls and loop-holes by simplifying the processes aimed at cost and time savings for our client, optimise specifications and offer an integrated project management suite for a streamlined construction experience.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Residential Design Architect to join our dynamic team based in Gurugram. This role is focused exclusively on residential building design, specifications, and project management support for plot owners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist RECON in the process of evaluating the right (not necessarily the best) construction partners vis. Architectural Firms, Builders, Collaborators, Contractors, Material Suppliers etc as per laid down processes.
• Review, assess and guide the construction partner on sustainable design through in-depth study and review of their floor plans and technical drawings and add value through your knowledge, experience and insights.
• Actively collaborate with clients and construction agency(s) to finalise project requirements and specifications.
• Provide expert guidance on material choices, finishes, and construction methodology.
• Draft detailed scope of work documents and ensure the designs are compliant with local regulations.
• Monitor project progress through on-site visits and virtual tools, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
• Lead the design and development of residential layouts, elevations, and façade concepts.
• Support end-to-end project management for assigned clients.
• Build and continuously update the knowledge repository for the latest in the field of design and construction.
