We’re looking for a

Technical Lead

with

6–10 years of experience

and a strong background in

COBOL, DB2, Python, IBM Mainframe Utilities, and IT Service Management

Location :

Bangalore (Hybrid – 4 days / week from office)

Key Responsibilities :

Lead development & maintenance of

Mainframe applications

using COBOL & IBM utilities

Integrate

Python scripting

to automate and enhance system performance

Manage

DB2 databases , ensuring high availability and integrity

Design and execute

JCL scripts

for efficient job scheduling

Own and deliver across all

SDLC phases

– from requirement gathering to post-install support

Analyze business requirements in

Cards & Payments

and deliver domain-aligned solutions

Apply best practices from

Asset & Wealth Management

to improve user experience

Collaborate cross-functionally and ensure strong

IT Service Management (ITSM)

support

Conduct code reviews, drive technical excellence, and mentor team members

Skills Required :

Strong hands-on experience with

COBOL, DB2, JCL, Python, and IBM Mainframe Utilities

Solid understanding of

Cards & Payments

and / or

Asset & Wealth Management

domains

Proven ability to lead end-to-end projects, troubleshoot issues, and drive results

Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Must hold :

IBM Mainframe Certified Specialist

ITIL Foundation Certification
