The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
