Data Modeler / Analyst

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data models that support complex utility tariffs, rates, and program structures.
• Automate workflows and processes using Python to enhance model efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform data validation, regression testing, and calibration, investigating and resolving discrepancies or model calibration failures.
• Manage change management processes for deploying updated models into production, including proper documentation and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define modeling approaches, and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to the rate engine, modeling practices, and sprint planning activities.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring sprint commitments are met.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation on modeling requirements, methodology, and updates for client and internal reference.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering innovation and collaboration.
