We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Team Lead – Student Counselling to manage and guide our counsellor team towards achieving enrollment goals. The ideal candidate will not only engage with prospective students but also lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the counselling team, ensuring high conversion rates and exceptional student experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of counsellors to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Oversee the end-to-end counselling process, ensuring the team provides accurate information on courses, university partnerships, and career outcomes.
- Monitor lead allocation and follow-up processes to maximize conversions from inquiries to admissions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training and feedback, and identify areas for skill enhancement.
- Assist in handling high-priority or complex student cases, including escalations related to admissions, documentation, and fee payments.
- Track and analyze team performance metrics, generating reports for management.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize student acquisition strategies.
- Keep the team updated on trending courses, competitor programs, industry demands, and financial assistance options.
- Ensure a high standard of student engagement and satisfaction throughout the admission journey.
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Master’s preferred).5–8 years of experience in Admission Counselling, with at least 2 year in a team leadership or supervisory role.Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.Excellent active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze performance data and drive results through actionable strategies.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
