About the role

We’re hiring two newly created Distribution Design Engineer positions as part of a strategic team expansion—not replacements. These roles offer the opportunity to work across Victoria’s major distribution networks including AusNet, Jemena, and United Energy , contributing to high-impact infrastructure projects.

You’ll be responsible for :

• Designing overhead and underground lines across Victorian distribution networks.
• Undertaking all kinds of Engineering Designs as directed including overhead, underground, street lighting, Industrial / Commercial supply and 66kV projects as directed.
• AutoCAD drafting and contributing to technical design solutions.
• Taking ownership of your projects from scope stage to the final delivery.
• For one of the roles, protection design and settings expertise —particularly in lines and distribution substations space—is highly desirable.

About You

You’re a mid to senior-level design engineer with a proven track record in distribution network design —both overhead and underground. You’re confident working independently, thrive under pressure, and bring sound judgment to technical decisions.
